Quantum computing is often believed to have the potential to revolutionize existing computational paradigms, particularly in simulating many-body quantum systems. It is, therefore, natural to apply it to tackling numerous computationally challenging problems in high energy physics. In my talk, I will review the efforts in quantum simulation of quantum field theory based on the light-front formulation. We'll discuss the advantages and drawbacks of such an approach, existing work, and future research directions.
