Nucleon with one dynamical gluon: A light-front Hamiltonian approach

Description

Basis light front quantization (BLFQ) provides a nonperturbative framework, which has been developed for solving many-body bound state problems in quantum field theories. It is a Hamiltonian formalism incorporating the advantages of the light front dynamics. We obtain the light-front wave functions (LFWFs) of the nucleon from the light-front QCD Hamiltonian, determined for its constituent three-quarks and three-quarks-gluon Fock components, together with a three-dimensional confinement. The eigenvectors of the light-front effective Hamiltonian provide a good quality description of the nucleon electromagnetic and axial form factors, the valence quark distribution functions following QCD evolution, the generalized parton distributions functions, etc. Various gluon distributions and orbital angular momentum of quarks and gluon will also be discussed in this talk.
