Description

This is the first lecture of the 2-hour lectures on light-front QCD in hadron physics.

There have been enormous progresses in the application of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) in hadron physics. In particular, the light-front dynamics proposed by Dirac in 1949 provides a useful first-principle tool for investigating QCD in hadron physics. The aim of this lecture series is to introduce the audiences the basics of Light-Front Field Theory, in particular Light-Front QCD, and to prepare them with some useful theoretical tools for the research in hadron physics.
