For last few decades, people have been looking for unconventional quantum phases of matters and focusing on their experimental realization. Frustrated magnetic system often provides such unconventional phases originated from quantum fluctuation and competing interactions between spins. Here, we discuss the current issues in quantum magnetism with frustration and connect to other exotic phenomena such as superconductivity, heavy fermions etc.
