Description

It is significant to measure and visualize local transition critical temperature and critical current density of

YBCO coated conductor rather than a rough average value of the entire through a nondestructive way. In this study, local physical properties such as superconducting transition critical temperature and critical current density in YBCO coated conductors are measured using Low Temperature Scanning Laser Hall Probe Microscopy (LTSLHPM) near the superconducting transition. In particular, we transformed shape of sample with striation and compared single bridge type of sample with two bridge type to reduce hysteresis and ac losses. As a result, there were no differences of superconducting properties within the margin of error and it is in stark contrast to the one bridge type of GdBCO sample. So it is expected to reduce the ac loss by patterning the sample.
