The Belle II experiment at the SuperKEKB asymmetric energy electron-positron collider has been operating physics run from April 2018 with an ultimate target of 40 times higher peak luminosity than previous KEKB collider. The main Belle II physics goal is to probe the New Physics phenomena beyond the Standard Model in heavy flavor sector. In this talk, Belle II operation status and recent physics results are presented.
