The Pohang Light Source (PLS) is a 3rd generation light source which leads scientific technology, constructed in september 1994. The PLS upgrade project (PLS-II) has progressed to increase beam energy from 2.5 GeV to 3.0 GeV, and to provide beam in top-up mode. Since the energy of the injector is limited, minimizing beam loss is required in order to increase injection efficiency. Beam position monitor (BPM) is needed to measure the beam position and to use feedback system. Also, it is necessary to check that the diagnostic device can perform the measurements accurately. Resolution study for Stripline-type BPMs installed in Linac and BTL was performed. Resolution of the BPMs installed in BTL was 16.1 μm for X direction and 17.2 μm for Y direction. Resolution of the BPMs installed in Linac is also measured, 96.0 μm for X and 97.4 μm for Y. Resolutions due to different beam currents are measured to check Calibration factor of electronics. Resolution of Stripline BPM installed in BTL was reduced proportionally to beam current as expected, but BPM electronic in Linac needs the more update of Calibration factors.
